After our tour we moved to Colorado where Charmagne got her Masters in German and Alex got his teaching certificate, both from Colorado State University. Oh yea, we got married, too. he,he
We then took one of the most glorious trips either one of us has ever been on. We honeymooned for two weeks in Katmandu, Nepal and another two weeks on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. Unfortunately, that was "pre-digital" and we do not have any photos to post. Yes I know, there are things called scanners, but, well...who has the time?!?! Anyway, it was a fantastic trip, and we were safely secured on the island just in time for that
catastrophe called Y2K. Remember that one, boy, we almost hoped it would bring the world to a halt as we were in such an ideal place to watch the world fall apart. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your point of view, the airplanes were able to claw their way into the sky and return us to "civilization".
While we were there we lived in married student housing , even though we were not yet married. We also decided to get jobs as, what they called "C.C.'s" - or Community Coordinators. We oversaw four resident halls (about 15-20 units each) and also worked 
with the rest of the C.C.'s to set up and run special events. The thing we liked best about living there was that, unlike the rest of Colorado, the community was very diverse. We had neighbors from all parts of the world and from all religions. It was great! Our apartment was tiny, usually too hot and if you left the upstairs window open while grilling chicken, the fire alarm would go off. In a lot of ways we miss this period the most. Taking classes, just the two of us living together, a place of our own and lot of nice people around us.
But life moves on and we moved to Mexico to work and start a new family, begining with the newest Ram-Fan...
What Alex won't tell you is that every time Isabel wore this outfit she either peed in it or pooped in it...EVERY time!
